Dear Orpheus team

Just a quick note to let you know how much I'm appreciating the new Apollo speakers. Before I made the decision to jump in and purchase the new Apollo speakers I compared them to more expensive European products and found the fidelity of the Apollo's to be superior. Since installing the Apollo's at home my wife, who initially was of the view that "there are more important things in life to spend money on than speakers" is now a raving fan. In fact now she thinks we need to upgrade our 55" Fujitsu flat screen to match the quality of the speakers. The Apollo speakers make watching music DVD's such as Nirvana's Unplugged in New York like being at the concert. However the biggest endorsement comes from my dogs that go nuts and think there are intruders in the house when the surround sound kicks in when watching movies. I'd recommend to anyone thinking about buying a new set of speakers not to waste money on mass produced "tinny" rubbish from chain stores and don't even pay the extra for imports when you can find an Australian company producing a superior product!

Dear Orpheus

I purchased a set of Orpheus Aurora 3 speakers over 10 years ago and love them. Subsequently I purchased a set of Orpheus Aurora 2 speakers and an Orpheus Centaurus 0.5 speaker to set up my home theatre. At the time I purchased a new amplifier to accommodate this but have never been happy with the sound. Well it turned out to be the amplifier as my new Receiver has restored the sound levels to what I had previously experienced from my Aurora 3 speakers. The sound is so good and I can’t emphasise how good the surround sound is.

My other great love is classical music and I have a large CD/DVD collection. The first disc I played on the new set up was a recording of the Easter Hymn from Cavalleria Rusticana on a Deutsche Grammophon CD – one of my favourites and one I use for reference purposes. I could not believe how beautiful the sound was. The mixture of bass, treble and voice was amazing. I then played a DVD recording of La Traviata from Covent Garden and it transcended me into another world.

It was a pleasure to meet you guys at your design facility a number of years ago and to experience the dedication you guys exude in producing these quality speakers. So again my sincere thanks for the quality of your products and the fact that you are out there competing with the best.

"....Finally got the old amp back and set everything up with little compromise (but great expense). Mate, the speakers are nothing short of spectacular. Using them through the Soundfield Processor environments created by the old Yamaha amp, you would swear you were in an old church, rock stadium, jazz club etc. The speakers are absolutely transparent and the highs especially, with my ageing ears, are spine tingling.
